The suite was roomy and very tastefully decorated. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessities of home. I loved the view from the balcony. I also loved the washer and dryer and the ice maker!

Location, balcony with table for laptops made for a wonderful start each day. Even though there were many families with children, the adult pool was buffered from the sounds of children playing in the family pool, creating a beautiful sanctuary.

It is very windy and 3 days of our stay the resort area was uninhabitable. We either needed to stay inside-not why we came to Hawaii or go to Kona. There are no real beaches in the area we spent alot of time driving back and forth to Kona.

3 Bedroom condo was very nice.
3 Bedroom condo was very nice. Comfortable beds and kitchen fully stocked. location great. Nice lunch (and breakfast) spot nearby at Johny's restaurant at Golf Pro Shop. Wish we could have golfed. Excellent pool and workout area per my friends. Tennis courts strange matt surface. Hard to see #s on other condos at night to find location of our friends who were also staying there. But overall, a great facility and will be back!

Waikoloa is a great affordable luxury resort development.
Waikoloa is a great affordable luxury resort development. It is the kind of place where you can take walks and enjoy the beautiful landscaping or for dining and shopping. Many excellent tour companies (Kailani Tours) do pick-ups here and Waikoloa is well situated for exploring all parts of the island.

The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are lovely.
The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are lovely. However, the food was mediocre at best, very overpriced and not fresh. The staff were not overly helpful or friendly. I would be hesitant to recommend this resort to friends and family.

We were a family of 5 and this was great!
We were a family of 5 and this was great! It gave us plenty of space and we were able to relax in the room and grill and cook a few meals in. There is shopping, restaurants, a movie theater, and a BIG ABC store that has everything you could want - groceries, take out, souvenirs, etc all right across the street within walking distance. Its only about 20 min from the airport but has lots of open space and a very quiet feel to everything. Its a very short drive to several beaches and only about an hour or so to anything else on the Island. We were on 3rd floor and elevator is small and very slow but is helpful with luggage. The garage had lots of beach gear available for use. Small but nice swimming pool just a few buildings down with beautiful landscaping around it and a shaded patio if you are hanging out and watching kids swim.

The Mauna Lani Beach Club is a wonderful beach and it was a huge plus to have access to the cabanas and furniture based on the fact the unit had a membership there. We enjoyed the fact that the unit was close to restaurants (Tommy Bahama) and groceries (Foodland).
Morning walks around Mauna Lani are wonderful and easy access over to the beach is convenient. It's also simple to travel over to Waikoloa for even more shopping and restaurants. The Lava Lava Beach club has great food and is right on the water where we got to see a Monk Seal swim in the bay.
Also, I would recommend exploring the full Big Island. There are wonderful national parks and you can see so much and so many different climates and landscapes. It is truly unique compared to the other islands.
We were able to see whales each day when we drove north up Kohala.
All in all a wonderful trip for our 10th visit to the islands.
The staff was amazing. They allowed us to keep our room a few extra hours beyond check out because we were waiting for a spa appointment. Hotel lobby and areas for sitting and enjoying the sunset or eat breakfast or sip a drink were wonderful. The bathroom was great. The only minor negative was an "oceanfront" room that was a far distance from the oceanfront and more inner courtyard then pool and then the beach in the distance view. Slightly false advertising. Otherwise perfect.
Accommodation interior was perfect. Suited 2 couples very well, with own bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen and dining areas for self catering. Space to relax in doors and out. Communal small gym and swimming pool. Beach equipment was good and clean. Lockable garage and outdoor parking space provided. Host Michel, was easily contactable at the end of a phone call or email- quick to respond.
Location is great and amenities were incredible. There are towels, beach toys, bikes, chairs, anything you can imagine wanting for a day at the beach. While Waikoloa is a bit isolated in and of itself, the condo is perfectly situated within its own community that has shops, restaurants, and beach access within walking distance. My family really enjoyed our stay here.
We love staying in Waikoloa and the Fairway Villas. This is was our second time in the area and we specifically chose to stay in the same location because the condos are nice, roomy, and clean. Considering the reasonable price, the location is a great place to stay while in the area.
Amazing location and the property is beautiful, much better than I expected. The private beach is really nice with a lot of different type of fishes and turtles around. Clean and clear water. I am surprised not more people go to the beach! The sunset is amazing from the hotel.
This was a beautiful location with all the amenities. The Beach Club restaurant and pool were amazing. Our refrigerator was having problems during the stay, so they upgraded us to a larger ocean-side condo. Could not have asked for better place to spend our vacation.
The villa was beautifully furnished, spacious, comfortable, and equipped with many supplies for our stay. It had a lot of things (beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, etc.) we needed for the beach. It’s location in Waikoloa made it very easy to get to places we went.
Large property with nice pools and overall very good for families. Nui is a good all around restaurant for families. My wife has celiac (Gluten allergy) and they have the best gluten free crust I think I've ever tasted. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable.
Apartment was amazing, very big space with beautiful garden. We stayed on the ground floor. Kitchen had everything we needed and it was easy to take a hotel shuttle to the food market to buy supplies.
Pool was just next door and we loved it.
Although facilities were clean, it didn’t meet our needs. Steep narrow staircase was difficult and dangerous for my wife to negotiate. We were looking for a simple comfortable hotel room. We paid way too much for what we didn’t want.
Location was close to the conference I was attending, and walkable to restaurants. Also, very clean.
There was a welcome gift/package which was appreciated. There were also beach things that were helpful and convenient.
Nice resort that also has permanent residents. Very outdated but cannot beat the price. Location isn't great but it isn't too far from beach and other activities. friendly staff. Great overall stay
It was set in a beautiful location with an ocean front pool. The condo was clean with modern updates. There was hotel-like benefits while not being at an actual hotel. It was super quiet too!
As pictures show right on the beach, free Wiki Wiki (short par 3 nine holes), restaurants were great.
Would need a car to get around and that cost an extra US$40 plus tips.
Beautiful resort, beautiful weather and nature, onsite cultural experts, friendly service, quiet and comfortable rooms, an attention to authentic Hawaiian culture, and more.
We loved all the space and modern appliances with quality kitchen tools/utensils. All the beach gear was a very nice bonus. The pool and hot tub were wonderful too…
